These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website www.medivisioneyecare.com (the "Website"), operated by MediVision Eye Care Centre ("MediVision", "we", "us", or "our"), together with your use of our online appointment portal and your interaction with our branches and services. By accessing or using the Website, or by booking an appointment through it, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Website.

Acceptance of Terms
Use of this Website is offered to you conditioned upon your acceptance, without modification, of these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. These Terms apply to all visitors, patients, prospective patients, and other users of the Website. If you use the Website on behalf of another person or an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to accept these Terms on their behalf.
Eligibility and Age
The Website is intended for use by individuals who are 18 years of age or older and capable of forming a legally binding contract under applicable law. If you are under 18, you may use the Website and book appointments only through, and under the supervision of, a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf. By booking an appointment for another person (such as a family member or a minor in your care), you confirm that you are authorised to provide their information and to act on their behalf.
Nature of Website Content — Not Medical Advice
The content available on this Website, including text, articles, blog posts, service descriptions, images, and any other material, is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. In particular:
- Information on the Website is not a substitute for an in-person consultation, examination, or professional medical advice from a qualified ophthalmologist or physician;
- You should never delay seeking medical attention, or disregard professional medical advice, because of information you have read on this Website;
- Any decision regarding diagnosis, treatment, medication, or surgery must be made in consultation with a qualified doctor after appropriate clinical examination; and
- In case of a medical emergency, please call our 24×7 emergency number or visit your nearest hospital emergency department immediately, rather than relying on the Website.
No Doctor–Patient Relationship
Your use of the Website, submission of an enquiry, or booking of an appointment does not, by itself, create a doctor–patient relationship between you and MediVision or any of its doctors. A doctor–patient relationship is established only when you are seen and examined in person by one of our ophthalmologists at a branch. Any communication through the Website, portal, email, or WhatsApp prior to an in-person consultation is for scheduling and general information purposes only and should not be relied upon as clinical advice.
Appointments and Online Booking
- Appointments may be requested through our online patient portal, by phone, or in person. Booking an appointment through the Website or portal is a request for an appointment slot and does not guarantee immediate confirmation, a specific doctor, or a specific time;
- You are responsible for providing accurate, current, and complete information when booking an appointment, including your name, contact details, and reason for visit;
- We reserve the right to reschedule, cancel, or modify appointments due to doctor availability, emergencies, technical issues, or unforeseen circumstances, and will make reasonable efforts to notify you of such changes;
- Our online appointment portal (medivision.elihealthsupport.com) is operated on our behalf by a third-party service provider, and your use of that portal may also be subject to that provider's own terms; and
- Consultation fees, diagnostic charges, and treatment costs are payable separately at the relevant branch and are not processed through the Website unless expressly stated.
Fees, Payments and Cancellations
- Consultation, diagnostic, and treatment charges are as displayed or communicated at the relevant branch at the time of service, and may vary by branch, doctor, procedure, and clinical requirement;
- Unless expressly stated, the Website does not process payments; where online or third-party payment facilities are offered, they are provided by third-party payment gateways subject to their own terms, and MediVision does not store your full card or banking details;
- We request that you inform the branch in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed appointment, so that the slot can be offered to another patient; and
- Any refund of amounts paid in advance is subject to the applicable branch and treatment policy and to applicable law.
Consent to Communications
By providing your contact details and booking an appointment or submitting an enquiry, you consent to receive communications from us relating to your appointment, treatment, reports, and services — including appointment confirmations and reminders — by phone call, SMS, WhatsApp, or email. Where you have separately consented, we may also send you health-awareness and promotional communications, from which you may opt out at any time as described in our Privacy Policy. Standard message and data rates from your service provider may apply.
Accuracy of Information
We take reasonable care to ensure that the information on our Website, including details of doctors, services, branches, and contact numbers, is accurate and up to date. However, we do not warrant that all content is complete, current, or error-free, and information such as doctor availability, service offerings, and branch details may change without prior notice. We recommend confirming critical details (such as a specific doctor's availability) by phone before visiting.
Intellectual Property
All content on this Website, including but not limited to the MediVision name and logo, text, graphics, images, layouts, and design, is the property of MediVision or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view, print, or download material from this Website for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display, or create derivative works from any content on this Website for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
User Conduct
When using this Website, you agree that you will not:
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information, including impersonating another person when booking an appointment;
- Use the Website for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, state, national, or international law;
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any portion of the Website, our systems, or our patient records;
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any code of a destructive nature; or
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers, or crawlers) to access or extract data from the Website without our prior written consent.
Third-Party Links and Services
The Website may contain links to third-party websites and platforms, including our appointment portal, Google Maps, and our social media pages on Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), YouTube, and LinkedIn. These links are provided for your convenience only. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the content, accuracy, or practices of any linked third-party site, and your use of such sites is at your own risk and subject to their respective terms.

Patient testimonials appearing on the Website reflect the individual experiences of the patients concerned and are shared with their consent. Testimonials are not a guarantee of specific outcomes, as clinical results vary from patient to patient based on individual medical conditions. If you submit any content to us or to our platforms (such as a review, comment, or feedback), you confirm that it is truthful and lawful, and you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use, reproduce, and display that content in connection with our services, while respecting the confidentiality and consent requirements set out in our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Website and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or that the Website will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MediVision, its branches, doctors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Website, or reliance on any information contained on it. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability arising from clinical negligence in the actual provision of medical treatment, which is separately governed by applicable medical and consumer-protection laws and by the informed consent obtained at the time of treatment.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MediVision, its branches, doctors, staff, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or connected with your misuse of the Website, your violation of these Terms, or your provision of false or misleading information.
Emergency Care
MediVision provides 24×7 emergency eye-care support at select branches as indicated on the Website. Emergency contact numbers listed on the Website are provided in good faith to help you reach us quickly; however, in a life- or sight-threatening emergency, you should also consider contacting local emergency services or the nearest available hospital if you are unable to reach us or reach our facility promptly.
International Patients
Patients travelling from outside India for treatment through our International Patient Care and Medical Tourism services are responsible for obtaining appropriate visas, travel documentation, and travel insurance. Treatment timelines, costs, and outcomes communicated during preliminary online or remote enquiries are indicative and subject to confirmation upon in-person clinical examination.
Force Majeure
MediVision shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations, or for any unavailability or interruption of the Website or services, arising from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, epidemics or pandemics, power or internet failures, strikes, governmental actions, or other force majeure events.
Privacy
Your use of the Website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal and medical information. Please review our Privacy Policy carefully, as it forms part of these Terms.
Modifications to the Website and Terms
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Website, or any part of it, at any time without notice. We may also revise these Terms from time to time by posting an updated version on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Website following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
General Provisions
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent, while we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or reorganisation. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and MediVision regarding your use of the Website.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made thereunder. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana.
